Me too. I hate it and I would have helped CLion's team to come up with a fix but since it's not part of the opensource projects I can only wait for them to do something about it...

I can definitely wait. I've been working on CPython for the past 10 months with that and so if someone has a better idea, I'll be really happy to use it.

Found a (possible) workaround by using clang: #134585 (comment).
