HoverBlurr

A browser extension that automatically blurs images on webpages and reveals them when you hover — helping you stay focused and distraction-free.

Installation

Chromium

  1. Download the HoverBlurr-Chrome-*.zip file from the Releases page
  2. Open chrome://extensions/
  3. Enable “Developer mode”
  4. Drag and drop the downloaded file into the extensions page

Firefox

Install from the Firefox Add-ons Store

Usage

  1. Click the HoverBlurr icon in your browser toolbar
  2. Toggle the extension on/off
  3. Adjust settings
  4. Visit any website — images will blur automatically
  5. Use temporary or permanent whitelisting depending on what you need

Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Alt+B — Toggle blur on/off for the current site
  • Alt+T — Temporarily whitelist the current site for this session
