Vuela! Client Dash 1.4 has hit the table. There are some great improvements that we are very excited about. This update focuses on the new system of Roles.

Roles

Client dash will now integrate very nicely with standard WordPress roles, AND custom created roles. You have the option of allowing different roles to see different content.

This is simple and easy to do. Simply hop on over to the Settings->Roles section and customize the user experience to your liking.

New Tabs / Features

We were also sure to add some cool tabs and features.

  • Added new Domain tab on the Help page for viewing useful information about your domain and its specifications.
  • Added support for custom post types under Reports -> Site.
  • Added a link to view current role capabilities under Account -> About You.
  • Added references to THREE, yes three, new extensions on the Addons tab on the Settings page.

Developers

We didn't forget about you guys! There's some new features that will make your lives much easier as well.

  • Custom WP nag messages based on capabilities.
  • New "Content Block" system for easy content creation/management.
  • Added some new helpful new CSS classes to work with.
