I added an exhaustive option to the Retriangulate tool while I was working on my master's thesis to enumerate a connected component up to a set excess height exhaustively, i.e. not stop if a smaller triangulation was found. Furthermore, to get an idea of the total size of a connected component, retriangulate outputs the total number of triangulations considered, including those of a larger size.
