Can we also add a test to show that if there's a item called .foo, it'll be rewritten to the root documentfoo?

We don't have any parents of that format right now, but it'd be good to show that we don't support it

We don't have to support it right now - I'd be happy with a test to show we don't support it. Or we can add support, either way!
