This repository hosts the public visualizations for the Longitudinal Episode Linking Analysis conducted as part of the Cognitive Action project.
The interactive visualizations are hosted via GitHub Pages:
- 🌐 Network Graph: Explore 5,217 connections across 711 episodes with semantic theme filtering.
- 📊 Statistics Dashboard: View link type distributions and connectivity metrics.
- 🎯 Semantic Themes Dashboard: Explore the 10 unified themes and their distribution.
- ⏱️ Temporal Theme Evolution: Visualize how themes evolved over the 6-month study period.
These visualizations reveal the structural connections between episodes across team meetings. The analysis identifies how topics, issues, and work flows evolve over time through explicit content-based linkages.
- Total episodes: 711 (374 E-life, 337 UltraCharge)
- Total directed links: 5,217 (2,296 E-life, 2,921 UltraCharge)
- Inter-meeting links: 81.1%
- High confidence links: 85.6%
- Unified semantic themes: 10 standardized themes across both startups

The source data for these visualizations is maintained in the private cognitiveaction repository. To update these public visualizations:
- Run the
visualize_episode_network.pyscript in the private repository. - Copy the generated HTML and PNG files to this repository.
- Commit and push the changes to trigger a GitHub Pages rebuild.
The visualizations now include a unified semantic theme taxonomy developed through systematic analysis of episode content. The 10 standardized themes enable comparative analysis across both startups:
- Market Validation and Customer Insights
- Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement
- Financial Planning and Viability
- Product/Service Development and Testing
- Strategic Planning and Vision
- Operational Planning and Execution
- Communication and Presentation Strategy
- Market Positioning and Commercial Strategy
- Knowledge Management and Documentation
- Risk Management and Problem-Solving
Each episode is assigned a primary theme and a semantic role (Object of Inquiry, Operational Target, Strategic Anchor, or Constraint/Trigger) based on contextual LLM analysis.
For detailed theme definitions and methodology, see the semantic_themes folder in the private repository.
