FirmwareUpdater not able to switch the board from application to mantainance

While debugging #603 I discovered that firmware update is not anymore able to move the ems from application to maintenance preventing flashing new version of the 2foc firmware

@GiulioRomualdi , did you try to restart the boards.

Today, alongside @ale-git , we updated the fw on the robot and we didn't experience this issue.

@ale-git :please can you confirm this?
