Check why running mode besteffort leaves application running after yarprobotinterface has been taken down.
We discovered this problem while testing the ergoCub S/N 003, we encountered this on the EMS.

It is important to define a situation where this (regularly?) happens and document it (rate of TX thread, messages sent to the board when YRI is closed, log of YRI w/ statistics emitted by the boards, etc.)

And then make it happen in a situation as simple as possible to debug.

I say so because I remember that when I tested this new mode on the lego setup the boards exited the loop at the closing of YRI.

A plan could be.

We could check again on the lego setup. Maybe I missed something. If so, we can debug the lego setup.

If lego setup is OK we may test again on the robot.

Then we can simplify the tests on the robot to a single board in order to make debug easier

And maybe we can replicate the robot's simpler situation also on a setup to make things even simpler
