I have a couple of questions:

1. Would you be up for updating the CHANGELOG.md and README.md (if needed)?
2. Would you be interested in becoming a maintainer? I'd love to avoid having these long unmerged PRs but I just don't have the time to dedicate to this anymore.

Hi @rorystephenson, thanks for replying and giving me the chance to support you here!

Since I anyway maintain my own fork of this project in order to keep it usable with the latest flutter_map versions I would be really happy to become a maintainer of it!

Let me update the readme of this and my current master, which supports flutter_map 8.1.0 so that we potentially merge it. I will need some days, since I am in the final phase to release my own app right now. Hope this is fine for you?

Hi @sewakghali, I haven´t had the time yet to polish my fork - but I plan to do it in the next two week and merge. If it is urgent, please use the fork till then.

hey @tobesucht @rorystephenson , I tried it and it is awesome work, but when i looked into it further the problem lies in supercluster_dart which is a dependency of this package, uses riverpod v2.x, and my project requires 3.x.
So, is it possible to combine these two packages in a monorepo to make these updates in sync?
