Next question I have asked at robotics.stackexchange.com too. But with not that much of views :-(
Anyhow at Yocto master and ROS rolling the fastdds recipe is not compiling.
The solution is already in a later release of fastdds.
And that release seems to be not in your latest sync because the 'source' version in the ros distro.

Any idea if this is common in ROS to keep source not at the latest release?
Any idea what's normal way to ask for an update?
