One graph I’d love to be able to produce easily is one that shows the total number of animals that make it to ~1 year old each year. We have a “first count” when the animals are between 10-12 months old. I want to know how to deal with data inputs that are just population counts (e.g. we counted the number of animals we have in our latest batch of animals today) will we be able to input that number somewhere? And can we derive population estimates from our infrequent counts (which happen ~yearly) combined with our mortality data (which is accumulated ~weekly). How does it deal with scenarios when things don’t add up -- e.g., when we do a full population count, and then track just the mortalities for a while, and then do another population count, all of these are estimates and might not add up perfectly. Can the “population count” override any estimates based on subrating mortalities from previous population counts?

These indicate issues that were worked on/merged during the Ruby for Good event on July 25-28, 2019.
Due by July 28, 2019•20/20 issues closed1. How many animals do I have from each spawning date right now, and what sizes are they? I’d like to be able to select a measurement event (a certain population on a certain date) or a group of measuring events (different populations near the same dates or same population over time) to generate a histogram of lengths ideally binned in 1-cm increments. 2. ALL of the lab's data of Untagged and Tagged Animal Assessment Data is uploaded successfully.
