With the generic
<E: Email>parameter, this function was getting copied a lot of times and generated quite a bit of code. This PR replaces the generic parameter with two regular, non-generic function arguments, which brings the number of copies down to 1. This should hopefully help a bit with compilation times (see https://matklad.github.io/2021/09/04/fast-rust-builds.html#Keeping-an-Eye-on-Instantiations).
