The package isn't particularly well maintained anymore and if we're only splitting into two partitions we might not even get that much of a performance boost. Compared to the `cargo test` times, the CI job is still significantly faster anyway... 😅

cargo testtimes, the CI job is still significantly faster anyway... 😅This also removes quite a few outdated transitive dependencies in the process.
