What was this even trying to do? In which sense does a local that has a shared reference taken "require"
freeze? If this shared reference is never actually used again, this operation only requires that the pointer be readable at this point.There was a problem hiding this comment.

requires_freezeindicates that deduction ofreadonlyrequires parameter to be freeze (as otherwise it could be mutated through shared reference).This code makes no attempt to track how reference itself is used, so it conservatively assumes that the reference itself can be used in an arbitrary way.
