It was not trivial to implement in the new scheme. The previous implementation was rather coarse-grained anyway.

Similar to what I did with compile-time benchmarks some time ago, this PR changes the mechanism for detecting already completed runtime benchmarks. This allows us to remove the
collector_progresstable completely, as it was otherwise unused in the new system.
