How to update

The update process

To update the plugin you must first uninstall the current version of the plugin you have installed. After that you should follow the regular installation instructions. Updating the plugin preserves all your data, it's a safe operation.

Update notifications

The plugin regularly checks if updates are available. The corresponding notifications are displayed when you access the widgetkit control panel.

The information regarding the availability of updates for the plugin is also available when you access any widget that uses the FolderEx plugin. If an update is available, then you will see an appropriate message.
