the other major source of meetup info currently is Scalendar, latest issue https://scalac.io/blog/scalendar-february-2025/

@majk-p That's a new page I have started adding to scala news. It's incomplete / wip whilst I have been trying compile the list to add.
Once I have created the initial list, hoping on crowd sourcing keeping the list up to date via PR (see details in README)
Thanks for noticing it, I had not announced as wip and thought of it as a placeholder for now.
