Note: please keep this PR open and rebased from master.

This branch is to adapt the current patches we maintain to work against the latest upstream criu-dev.

We don't merge this until we want to release a production version from master that tracks an upstream version containing them.

it is normal that this build sometimes fails, because the CMakeLists.txt is still pointed to 4.1, however we can run the manual workflow to release drafts from this branch.
