Alexandria's Library was a very well-known and highly documented library located in Egypt, which was burned around the 48 b.C. (event attributed to Julius Caesar). It was said to contain a huge amount of ancient knowledge (now lost forever).
So, to honor the loss of such humanity's jewel, we decided to name this app after the famous library, because our goal was always the same: to keep record of the books we all love.
Alexandria is, therefore, a web application developed with React that allows us to keep track of the books we have read (and/or own), rate them and add write our opinion.
For the time being, the app is very simple as it is only a MVP, but, in time, we will continue to develop it and add new features to make it more interesting.
Think of it as a seed that will soon grow to become a tree. A tree full of knowledge.
