Initial thoughts on a roadmap for SMILI development.

Q2 2016

1. Qt 5 support to be added (see topic branch topic-qt5 for progress)
2. Improved blending support
3. Issues 9, 7, 5, 10

Q4 2016

1. Complete registration plugin Elastix and NiftyReg support.
2. Statismo support in SSM plugin, including exporting and importing shape models.
3. More filters and algorithms to be added to model and image classes.
4. Perspectives and themes added to GUI applications.

Plugins

1. Visual programming language - Using LabView like circuit diagrams to construct processing pipelines. The flow diagrams will be used to generate Python scripts, which will be executed using the Python plugin.
2. Fast Fourier and Radon Transforms - FTL plugin to be expanded to explicitly support FFTs and FRTs.
3. Spine imaging plugin
