Changes to alignment

Previously, with align.multiline = false, alignment had an inconsistency:

• the last line of a multiline expression would be properly aligned with subsequent single-line expressions
• but the first line of a multiline expression would not be aligned with preceding single-line expressions

In this release, this inconsistency is fixed (can't be controlled via a parameter):
