Extend timeout for reading metadata and ID. read 1024 bytes at a time with a small timeout instead of 1 byte without any timeout. General: Add edge trigerring options.

Add edge trigerring options. This is done by adding a trigger step.
rising edge -> step1 : low level, step2 high level
falling edge -> step1: high level, step2 low level
