I wonder how Rust version support (or lack of it) has impact on tool usage level, not building.

Locally and on CI I install cargo-mutants as a binary pre-compiled tool.

I released 0.4.5 with your change to MSRV in flickzeug btw :)

It should work well to invoke cargo mutants under quite an old cargo/rustc version, much older than is used to build the tool. Perhaps I should add this to CI.
