I fell in love with programming at first sight in 1982 on an Apple ][+, and never looked back. I now teach computer science at Macalester College, do some freelance software dev at (mostly) Bust Out, and lead a secret double life as a composer/pianist. I love creating beautiful things, and sharing the beauty of creation with people of all kinds.

Coding, teaching, parenting, and playing keeps me busy and happy — but all that leaves very little time for tending to non-paying open source! Sponsorship helps me carve out OSS time.

About the Project

I’ll use this GitHub sponsorship primarily to work on Siesta. Its radical approach to consuming REST-shaped APIs has a transformative effect on app codebases, similar to the effect that frameworks like SwiftUI / Flutter / Vue have had on UI development.
