Revert "feat: Add EoS checker (#638)"

This reverts commit a49e4a7. (PR #638)

With #638 the kube-rs version was transitively bumped, which led to bugs in the CRD generation. @sbernauer will work on an upstream fix, then this revert can be reverted again later.
