There was a problem hiding this comment.
The explicit f32 casting was more relevant for the hypotf PR and less so for absf, as absf does not involve arithmetic operations where precision is a concern. However, that said, adding f32 wrappers does signal to JS runtimes that values and comparisons are single-precision, thus affording the opportunity for more efficient JIT routines. In which case, we can go ahead and merge.
