Note that Fab does not work with git (at least not the Fab version used here). During the git migration, UKMO has changed (at least) two file types: dependencies.sh -> dependencies.yaml, and FCM style extract.cfg -> extract.yaml.

The additional main problem is that in the code review the reviewer has rejected the use of a wrapper script (build.sh), meaning there is a lot more stupid stuffing around with python path in python scripts before importing and other refactoring required. I think I have this (mostly?) ready, so I can try to provide a new branch for you soon
