I think you're aware of this, but for future reference, this won't actually allow mace_polar to be used, both because the release predates the PR that added it, and it'd still be missing graph_longrange.
We should ideally document the need to install mace's main and graph_longrange, and/or we could consider a separate extra.

yes I shall put it draft... mainly cause I was doing in various meetings.
