v6.5.0-beta.1 Pre-release
Pre-release

6.5.0 will be the public release of Inkeep-based chat & search on docs.strapi.io in early Q3, if the Inkeep experiment proves successful.

In the meantime, we’ll be simultaneously releasing:

  • 6.5.0-beta.x versions, focused on Inkeep-related improvements β†’ available on our beta site at docs-next.strapi.io.

  • 6.2.x, 6.3.x, and 6.4.x versions, for regular content updates on the stable site at docs.strapi.io.
These releases will align with upcoming Strapi product announcements, and include docs improvements such as a sidebar revamp for the Configurations, Development, and TypeScript sections.

Over the past months, the Documentation team worked hard to improve the documentation based on your feedback.

In December 2024, we launched a new design. Today, we are super happy to launch the new CMS documentation!

✨ What’s new in the CMS documentation?

  • A whole new homepage: With an emphasis on the AI chatbot. Feel free to ask your questions in natural language.
  • Merge of Dev Docs & User Guide: You now have one documentation per Strapi product: CMS and Cloud. No more confusion on which docs to use!
  • New Features section & pages: Everything feature-related is in the new β€œFeatures” section of the CMS doc's navigation and each feature is now fully documented in one page. No more feature content scattered everywhere!
  • Simplified navigation: Many users reported frustration because of the too many levels and inconsistent behaviours in the navigationβ€”both issues have been fixed and the navigation design has been improved for better readability.
  • More visuals throughout the docs: We're slowly adding new interactive demos in pages to offer another way to learn about Strapi. Check out Admin Panel, Content Manager & Content-type Builder pages to try the demos!

We hope that you will appreciate the new CMS documentation and that it will feel more user friendly than before!

Please let us know what you think! Feel free to respond to the Google Form !
Also, as always, we’re open to any user interview opportunityβ€”we love discussing with and hearing from Strapi users πŸ’œ
