Tested on what will soon be 50.beta and there don't seem to be any compatibility issues. This is required by Edubuntu, and thus indirectly required for Ubuntu 26.04.

Thanks, I'll give that a test soon. When would you need a release by, or can you work from git? I'd normally aim to release around rc1. |

Ubuntu needs to release the change right now, but we can do that with a patch so feel free to stick to whatever schedule you prefer. |
