Hi, I'm Tanya! I'm an undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University, double majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

I like building tools that move from theory and research ideas to real-world deployment. Currently, I’m working on:

- Research @ ISLE Lab (Johns Hopkins CLSP) with Nikhil Sharma and Dr. Ziang Xiao; benchmarking reliability and bias in multilingual LLMs as information flows across languages.
- Building a Game Boy Advance emulator from scratch with my little brother
In the past, I've:
- Led interns training foundation models for cervical cancer screening and spatial transcriptomics at Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s Levy Lab
- Collaborated with YC startup founders and ISEF winners on research and early-stage projects
- Won multiple hackathons and accelerator competitions
- Published NLP research from my freshman year of high school
