Theatrix

The project aims to recommend movies based on the input of the user. The project was developed under the guidance of Mentor Rama.

The languages used for development are- HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python (Flask Framework).

Folders

The folders are present in the MASTER branch.

• Theatrix: Consists of home page, recommendations page, error page, test.
• env: Virtual environment

Installation

Requiremnets for the project have been listed in requirements.txt file.
To clone the repository, open terminal and type:

git clone https://github.com/tanisha-byte/theatrix

Execution of Code

Open a terminal and type:

cd Theatrix
python app.py

How to use

1. Once the app starts running, there will be a search bar present on the home page.
2. Type full movie name on the search bar and hit enter.
3. You will be able to see the recommended movies on the basis of the movie entered. The user can watch the trailer, see the poster and the plot of the same.
