Don't get me wrong, your PR is much appreciated but I'm at a point where i'd rather remove everything nix related from our docs. I'm so tired of it.

Didn't know the nix stuff were so troublesome (or nagging?). I'm new to nix and was pleasantly surprised to see it mentioned in the docs! It was a good starting point for me.

It seems to be a contentious issue, so i get you.
