This is a wiki page that describes the basic of the pulse sequencer (a.k.a. Pulser) that is developed by Thaned Pruttivarasin at Berkeley and now at RIKEN (Japan).
We are pleased to announce that we put a write-up that describes our system on ArXiv here.
Using the Pulser in a simple fixed frequency mode.
Using the Pulser in a pulse sequence mode.
Technical details about frequency and amplitude ramping.
Understanding the pulser server.
Pictures of DDS setups around the world.
A few labs use LabRAD for the whole experiment control (while this page only contains the functionality of the Pulser/DDS). So there are a few tutorial/WIKI pages on various things related to LabRAD. It's my hope to consolidate these in the near future.
Repo for running an optical lattice clock (Hg clock at RIKEN)
Repo for setting up a new experiment based on Berkeley's structure (UCLA)
Repo of UC Berkeley's ion trapping experiment (Hartmut's group at UC Berkeley)
Page of John Martinis' group. The origin of LabRAD (UC, Santa Barbara)
