What's Changed

Note: This version includes significant changes where Rugpi has been renamed to Rugix and includes a whole host of improvements to both the building of images and the A/B update mechanism. For more information about the switch to Rugix, check out the blog post.

  • feat: update to rugix by @reubenmiller in #90
  • Update thin-edge.io to 1.5.0
  • Install container engine by default
  • Install pkcs11 tooling (p11-kit, gnutls-bin and opensc)

Upgrade Notes

With the update to Rugix, there are some changes which you need to be aware of to be able to update to a new image which uses Rugpi.

If the device is already using Rugpi (e.g. < 0.8), then you will need to update your device using the Over-the-Air (OTA) way, using the *.img.xz file (not the *.rugixb file). For all future updates, you will need to use the new update bundle, *.rugix.

Like before, if you're just flashing a new SD care with the system image, then you still use the *.img.xz image.
