Adds a Claude Code skill that teaches Claude how to look up the operator↔Calico version mapping instead of guessing. The mapping between operator release branches (release-v1.X) and Calico versions isn't a simple offset — it changes over time and some branches correspond to OSS releases while others correspond to enterprise releases.
The skill instructs Claude to check
metadata.mkin the calico/calico-private repos (authoritative source) and cross-reference withconfig/calico_versions.yml/config/enterprise_versions.ymlin the operator repo. Useful for cherry-picks and any task that involves targeting a release branch by Calico version.
