Betting Tracker

A simple web application for tracking wagers. The project combines a Node.js/Express backend and static HTML pages for user interaction.

Getting Started

1. Install dependencies:

   npm install

2. Start the API server:

   npm start

   The server expects environment variables such as your MongoDB connection string.

Environment Variables

Set the following variables to enable optional features:

• MONGODB_URI: MongoDB connection string (required).
• AI_MODEL: Override default OpenAI model (optional; default gpt-4o-mini).
• OPENAI_API_KEY: If set, the server will use this key for all AI Analyst requests. When present, users do not need to provide personal keys and the Settings page disables personal key entry.

Repository Structure

• api/ – entry point for the Express application
• src/ – application logic, routes, and database configuration
• Static HTML files (index.html, login.html, etc.) serve as the frontend
