For papers with long titles, several things needed to be done a bit differently than the normal case to define a shorter running title. This patch adds an optional argument to \maketitle that can be used to define a running title while the rest of the settings are as automatic as in the normal case (i.e. \author{} can be used and no need to fiddle with \paperthumb yourself).
