Although not required, the vCon library should be used to create vCons. Most of the data elements of the vCon are easily updated directly, such as the parties, attachments and analysis. However, the dialog sections of vCons often require "signing". As an example, we calucluate the hash of a WAV file so we can detect changes. The vCon library helps to keep those modifications compliant to the vCon standard.
