Summary

  • add trust_remote_code handling and automatic model selection to the shared loader utilities
  • update the causal LM and seq2seq tasks to take advantage of pretrained output heads when available
  • add focused unit tests that cover the new loader logic and generation model behaviours

Testing

  • pytest tests/test_model_loader.py tests/test_task_generation.py
