This looks great, but is likely going to have loads of conflicts due to other recent attempts at fixing similar things.

it provide a much shorter abstract, as requested in w3c/transitions#778 (comment) and what used to be the abstract makes more sense in the intro anyways.
and rename the directory to be consistent
