Project Abstract

W3b Stitch is a decentralized trust engine that provides a unified framework for media verification, credential authentication, and decentralized identity. It addresses one of the most pressing problems in the digital ecosystem: the inability to reliably determine what content, credentials, and identities can be trusted. By leveraging event-driven trust recalculation and a dual-layer anchoring system, W3b Stitch ensures that media and credentials can be authenticated with transparency, scalability, and privacy.

The system introduces novel primitives such as Trust Delta Records (TDRs) for dynamic trust scoring and Verifiable State Bundles (VSBs) for efficient packaging of trust states across L2 and L1 blockchains. This architecture is designed for interoperability with standards like Verifiable Credentials (VCs) and Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs), ensuring integration with existing decentralized ecosystems. W3b Stitch empowers media platforms, social dApps, credential issuers, and enterprises to anchor authenticity directly on-chain, offering a new trust layer for the Web3 era.
