Thanks, @drjaska . I have not checked out the repo. I made the PR on GitHub, so was not set up properly. I'm not a Python developer, and don't have a big incentive to check out this project for this fix. I hereby release this edit to the public domain, in case anyone else would like to make a PR.
This one can be closed.

OTOH, if you have a step-by-step I could follow; OR if I could make a new PR with the same change and that notice included in the original commit message. I'm guessing it didn't register because I added my attestation with an edit.
