Issues

Infinite recomposition when showing a preview of a file

Causes (Optional)

request value is being updated on every success causing an infinite loop of read and write

drawable ──► ImageRequest ──► Coil load ──► onSuccess ──► drawable

Solutions

Use of SubcomposeAsyncImage which lets substitute the “loading” without touching the request itself

  • Also added a space above file name when the preview is null.

  • GitHub link to other pull request
