Objective

Research candidate camera sensors for integration into a delivery robot platform.
Compare specifications, pricing, and suitability for outdoor navigation, then shortlist optimal options.

Scope

  • Reference document: Isaac Sim “Camera and Depth Sensors” page

  • Focus primarily on sensors listed on the page
    (e.g., Leopard Imaging Hawk Stereo Camera, and other listed RGB/Depth sensors)

  • For each camera model, collect and summarize:

    1. Model name & manufacturer
    2. Key technical specs
      • Resolution, sensor type, frame rate
      • Lens/focal length, aperture (F-stop)
      • Field of view
      • Depth range or clipping range (if applicable)
      • Operating temperature / environmental specs
    3. Physical specifications
      • Dimensions, weight
      • IP rating (water/dust resistance), mounting options
    4. Pricing or quotation
      • Official retail price or distributor estimate
    5. Notes for delivery robot application
      • Outdoor/day–night conditions
      • Obstacle detection and wide-FOV needs
      • Cost constraints / reliability factors
  • Produce a Markdown summary and a comparison table.
