After ten years away from formal education, I returned to studying after my son was born.
Through self-directed study, I completed high school via the ENCCEJA exam and took the ENEM the following year. I was later admitted in first place to the Software Engineering program at UNINTER for my campus.
Before entering the technology field, I worked in different areas including restaurants, delivery services, warehouse assistance and tattooing. These experiences helped me develop discipline, resilience and a long-term mindset.
Today I am focused on building a career in software development and continuing to grow as a self-taught developer.
One of my long-term goals is to contribute to the development of software that helps researchers analyze data and accelerate the discovery of treatments for diseases. My interest in this area grew stronger after learning about graph databases and NoSQL systems, which sparked a growing curiosity about Data Science.
I am also interested in building technology that can reduce food waste by connecting farmers with surplus production, volunteer cargo-drone networks and communities facing socioeconomic vulnerability.
⚡ Fun fact: I spent fifteen years skateboarding, which taught me persistence and resilience, qualities that help a lot when learning to code.
