Unfortunately, Amper removing Gradle support and the lack of an Amper buildpack makes using Amper with Dokku not worth it right now. And I don't have the energy to create an Amper buildpack while it is still experimental, lest I'll never work on this project ever again.
I mentioned it in the Kotlin Slack, but getting an official buildpack made would be beneficial. Maybe not a legacy Heroku one, but a CNB one at least. GitLab Auto DevOps, Heroku (which is mentioned in Ktor documentation), and others all use buildpacks so they're not too niche.
