This will ensure that any old modules are also removed which is really what the documentation suggests.
I realise that this is an experimental feature, and I suspect it's one you'd actually like to drop, but for those of us running Shifter without a grunt wrapper, this is extremely helpful in ensuring a clean build and solid state of affairs.
