Support auto-incrementing numbered lists in between markers in markdown

Reproduction steps

1. start writing a markdown list
2. insert a new item before the last one;

Current vs. Expected behavior

Current behavior: numbers on the list do not get rearranged.

Expected behavior: numbers on the list are updated to reflect the new ordering.

note I just realized that this is the "Markdown All In One" extension; can Zed extensions hook to provide behavior like this?

Nice! Thanks for clarifying that. This is a good ask, but as a feature request, so I’m going to convert it.

just to clarify: this is asking whether the extension API would allow to hook into this editing behavior; as in, this probably does not belong in core
