Buddy v1.4 — AI Temperature Control & UI Overhaul
Buddy just got smarter and sharper. This update hands you direct control over the AI's creativity with a new temperature slider, while delivering a sweeping visual refresh across the Keys, Commands, and Settings screens for a cleaner, more premium experience.

- AI Temperature Control: You're now in the driver's seat. A brand-new AI Creativity section in Settings lets you fine-tune the temperature from
0.0(laser-focused & deterministic) all the way to2.0(wildly creative & unpredictable). The value is instantly saved and applied across every provider — Gemini, Groq, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint — replacing the old hardcoded default. - Revamped Keys Screen: The API Keys page has been completely reimagined. A live Usage Dashboard now greets you at the top, showing a 7-day mini bar chart of your AI request activity alongside a Most Used command card. Key cards are also cleaner — showing
Gemini Key 1style labels instead of masked strings with badge chips. - Redesigned Commands Screen: The Commands tab has been thoroughly overhauled with a more modern, intuitive layout that makes browsing and managing your triggers feel effortless.
- About Section in Settings: A new About card in Settings links directly to the GitHub repository with a single tap — a frictionless way to star the project and stay connected.

Why ~20 MB? The APK bundles Python 3.12 via Chaquopy to handle AI calls natively — no Termux, no server required.
🚀 Updating to v1.4
- Download the new APK below (allow "unknown sources" if prompted).
- Install it right over your current version. All your custom commands, API keys, and settings are strictly preserved locally!
- Open Buddy, head to Settings → AI Creativity, and dial in your preferred temperature.
